A judge sentenced three convicted Somali pirates on Friday to life in prison in the February 2011 slayings of four US citizens on a sailing ship. According to dpa, Ahmed Muse Salad, 25, Abukar Osman Beyle, 20, and Shani Nurani Shiekh Abrar, 29, were previously found guilty by jury in a court in Norfolk, Virginia, of 26 counts each including piracy, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, hostage taking resulting in death, kidnapping resulting in death and multiple firearms offenses, the FBI said in a statement.
