The United States on Tuesday said Palestinian and Israeli negotiators met with each other without U.S. officials during the brokered peace-talks in Washington. The two parties are expected to continue peace-talks in either Israel or the Palestinian territory within the next two weeks. "Earlier today, the two parties (Palestinian chief negotiator Saeb Erekat and Israeli Justice Minister Tzipi Livni) met together without the U.S. representation," State Department spokeswoman Jennifer Psaki told reporters. "We expect that moving forward we will be a part of many of the discussions, but there will be discussions where the two parties will just meet with each other," Psaki added.
