At least 22 people were killed and more than 50 injured Friday in two separate bomb attacks in Pakistan's north-western tribal region along the Afghan border, officials said. A local official who declined to be named said that the first bomb exploded in a busy market in the town of Parachinar in Kurram. The second bomb exploded on a road nearby. An intelligence official said that a motorbike bomb was used in the market bombing. Police are still investigating the second explosion, dpa reported.
