Thirteen people died and 189 were rescued after a fishing boat carrying mostly asylum seekers to Australia sank off Indonesia's Java island, a rescue official said Thursday. The boat carrying undocumented migrants sank off West Java province Tuesday soon after it set sail for the Australian territory of Christmas Island.
