At least five people were killed in landslides triggered by incessant rainfall in western Nepal on Monday, local media reported. Two children died in Palpa district after being buried under a landslide, Kantipur Television reported. Three others were killed in Syangja district when their house was swept away. Police said they were searching for 13 others who have gone missing during the storms. More than 70 people have died in monsoon-related accidents in Nepal since mid-June, according to a report of DPA.
