More than 1,000 alleged direct and indirect victims of torture and abuse under the regime of former Chadian leader
Hissene Habre filed a civil lawsuit in Senegal Wednesday.
Lawyers representing them said their clients wished for a fair
trial in line with international standards at the Extraordinary
African Chambers - a special court set up to try Habre in the
Senegalese capital Dakar, dpa reported.
