Makkah Governor Patronizes Holy Quran International Award

On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Governor of Makkah Region, patronized here Tuesday evening the honoring ceremony for the winners of 6th International Award in the Service of the Holy Quran, organized by International Organization for the Holy Quran Memorization.
Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa was announced as the personality of the year in the service of the Holy Quran for the year 1434 AH. Prince Khalid Al-Faisal presented the award to Bahraini Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Hamoud bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
Addressing the ceremony, the Secretary General of Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization's Board of Directors, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki, said that the King's patronization of the ceremony provides the League and the Organization with continuing strong support in their efforts in the service of the Islamic Actions and the Holy Quran in various parts of the world.
