Strengthening the efforts of government agencies in the field of control and supervision of the prices of goods and services, providing an environment of healthy competition, preventing any exorbitant prices leading to higher profit margins for traders and producers, preventing any exercise of monopoly in the market for goods and services, reviewing the rules and regulations that deal with the subject of prices of goods and services or affect them, and preventing monopolistic practices to deal with any rise in the exorbitant prices. 2- Providing comprehensive information data on the developments of prices of goods and services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and neighboring countries, continuous monitoring of the appropriateness of these prices and changes in them, and their responsiveness to changes in world prices, as well as providing an opportunity for citizens to see the information. The Cabinet was also briefed on a number of topics on its agenda, including the two annual reports of the General Presidency for Youth Welfare, and General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta for the previous fiscal years, and issued its directives towards them.
