Faisal bin Hamed Mualla, Saudi ambassador to Sudan, kicked off the Project of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for providing break-fast meals for Ramadan fasters in Sudan, it was reported today. Addressing a special ceremony held in Khartoum last night to announce the program, Mualla considered the project another credit in the good-will record of the monarch and a continuation of the Saudi support for the Sudanese people, confirming the deep-rooted ties binding the Kingdom and Sudan. For his part, the Religious Attache of the Embassy Dr. Sulaiman Al-Fiheid said the project, first launched four years ago, is composed of diversified meals and has targeted 375,000 worshippers in Sudan, including orphans, poor and the needy.
