A car bomb attack targeting an African Union peacekeeping convoy outside Somalia's capital, Mogadishu, on Friday killed seven and left 15 wounded, according to a government official. The bomb appeared to have largely missed its intended target. The seven dead were all civilians, as were the 15 injured, said local Somali government official Abdikafi Hilowle. The injured were rushed to local hospitals. The attack took place in the same area where the UN's compound is located. No group has claimed the latest attack.
