Saudi Arabian Mining Company "Maaden" has announced the awarding of a contract for the construction of an ammonia plant in the City of Ras Al-Khair for Mining Industries, which is part of Maaden Project for Phosphate Industries in King Abdullah Project for the Development of Wa'ad (Promise) North City for Mining Industries valued at SR 3.09 billion, an equivalent of $ 825 million. The two companies implementing the project will provide engineering works, supply of equipment, and construction of the plant in 39 months with a production capacity of 1.1 million tons annually.
