The Ministry of Labor of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has presented its four-category employers zones (Nitaqat) example before the UN Forum for Public Service 2013 recently held in Manama, Bahrain. Taking part in the event, which wrapped up last Thursday, Dr. Amro Zuhair Masood, the Director of Nitaqat program at the MOL, also presented the Kingdom's experience in governmental electronic transactions (Yusr), describing the unprecedented effort as among the most important solution for Saudization of jobs ever executed by the government to assess the performance of local companies and establishments doing business in Saudi Arabia and classify them into premier, green, yellow and red zones. According to the presentation, the recruitment process of Saudis in the private sector since the inception of Nitaqat program in June 2011 increased from 10 percent to more than 13 percent as nearly 615 female and male citizens were employed by the end of 2012, the number of Saudi females who were appointed in new jobs in the private sector amounted in 2012 to 180,000 while the disabled occupied 17000 vacancies by the end of 2012. The paper received applaud of more than 730 participants in the event.
