Egyptian security and medical officials said an American has been killed in the Mediterranean coastal city of Alexandria during clashes between supporters and opponents of Egypt's President Mohammed Morsi. They also said that the American was killed Friday in Sidi Gabr Square while photographing the clashes between opposition youth and members of the Muslim Brotherhood, from which Morsi hails. A medical official said the American was wounded when stabbing by a knife and died at the hospital.
