Envoys from China and India held talks on their disputed Himalayan border Friday, promising to build on the "good momentum" of their leaders' meeting last month, dpa reported. China's representative at the talks, State Councillor Yang Jiechi, promised to "work hard to solve the China-India border issue," state media said. Indian National Security Advisor Shri Shivshankar Menon said the meeting took place at a time of "good momentum" in bilateral ties, state broadcaster China Radio International reported. The talks were scheduled to end on Saturday.
