At least 57 miners where killed when a tunnel collapsed at a gold mine in Central African Republic, the father of two of the victims told dpa Thursday. He said 64 miners were working in the pit in the village of Ndassima, 450 kilometres north-east of the capital Bangui, at the time of the incident Sunday. Rescuers were still searching for bodies.
