Prince Mite'b bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of the National Guard of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, expressed pleasure to have had talks with France's Foreign Minister Loran Fabius at an invitation of the host minister. In a press statement following the meeting, Prince Mite'b bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz said the talks covered Saudi French relations and ways of enhancing them. The two parties discussed a number of issues at the regional and international arenas, he said confirming that the viewpoints of Saudi Arabia and France on a number of issues of mutual concern are identical under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and France's President François Hollande. For his part, the Foreign Minister of France described the Saudi French relations as firm and said they are in the best of their levels, noting the identity of views of the two countries' leadership on a number of regional and international issues and the increase of exchange of visits and meetings between officials of the two countries.
