Indonesian military training helicopter Huges 300C crashed during a training at the Army air base at Ahmad Yani Airport here on Tuesday. Major Toni Safrudin, the chief of the Ahmad Yani Army Air Base Security Section said that the accident occurred at around 08.30 am (GMT +7) and there were no casualties. "There were two people on board the ill-fated helicopter, the instructor and a student pilot," ANTARA quoted Safrudin as saying. He explained that the accident took place at the airport's taxiway area when the helicopter was heading toward the hangar. At that time, the low-flying aircraft was ready to pick up another student for its next training. The helicopter suddenly fell and was badly damaged. "The two people on board suffered minor injuries, and were rushed to hospital in the military air base," he said. The cause of the crash is still unknown.
