China's Shenzhou 10 space mission is set to blast off this week with three astronauts on board, China Manned Space Engineering said Monday, according to DPA. During the 15-day mission, docking manoeuvres will be practised with the Tiangong-1 space module, which has been orbiting the Earth since September 2011. The launch from the Jiuquan space centre in Gansu province in north-west China was planned for 5:38 pm (0938 GMT) on Tuesday. The Shenzhou 10 mission's manoeuvres and experiments are important steps towards the construction of a space station planned by 2020.
