Three Afghan policemen were killed in southern Afghanistan Monday after a suicide car bomber and five gunmen attacked a provincial Governor's office, DPA reported. Ghulam Sakhi Roghlewani, a police chief in southern Zabul province, said that the suicide car bomber detonated his vehicle at the entrance gate of the provincial council in Qalat city, the capital of the province. Roghlewani said that after the explosion five gunmen tried to enter, killing three policemen and injuring three others. "The five assailants were killed by police after a short engagement," said Roghlewani.
