Secretary General of GCC starts visit to Azerbaijan

Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani began a visit to Azerbaijan last night.
The Secretary-General will participate during the visit in the work of the donors' conference to finance the strategic plan for the development of the Holy City of Al-Quds, hosted by Azerbaijan in implementation of the decision of the Islamic summit held in Cairo during the month of February.
The Secretary-General will also hold official talks with senior officials of the Republic of Azerbaijan and sign a memorandum of understanding between the GCC States and the Republic of Azerbaijan aiming to strengthen and develop relations between the two sides.
