The U.S. welcomed the announcement of the North and South Korea to hold their first government dialogue since years, it was reported here today. In the daily press conference, the spokeswoman of U.S. Foreign Ministry Jennifer Psaki said that the U.S. welcomes the news on the agreement of the two Koreas to hold talks on issues of dispute between them, stressing that they will continue to coordinate closely with their allies and partners in the region to make this step a success.
