Voters in the tiny Himalayan nation of Bhutan cast their ballots Friday in the country's second general election, which is being held in two stages, dpa reported. The first round of voting is to decide which of four parties in the fray would participate in a second stage on July 13, a government official said. Two parties would be eliminated and two would remain to contest the July election to the 47-member National Assembly, Bhutan's Election Commission spokesman Cherub Wangpo said over telephone.
