Indian Prime Minister Leaves For Visits to Japan and Thailand

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh left here today on a five-day visit to Japan and Thailand.
The visit is aimed at giving a "new meaning" to India's 'Look East' policy and hoping it will contribute to peace, prosperity and stability in the Asia-Pacific, according to a report of the Press Trust of India (PTI).
