Faisal, highlighting the successful talks he held with Prince Saud. The Indian Minister addressed bilateral issues of common interest as well as the distinguished relations between Saudi Arabia and India; pointing out that these relations are in constant progress. Then, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and his Indian counterpart answered reporters' questions. Regarding the Syrian file, Prince Saud reiterated that "We are with the will of the Syrian people... The Syrian people have clearly expressed their unwillingness to see Bashar Al-Assad or any of those who killed Syrian people having any role... We support what is desired by the Syrian people." Regarding the Iranian threat to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Prince Saud Al-Faisal expressed regret about the threat of Iran to the Kingdom of Bahrain, especially in light of these circumstances. He also said that the case in such threats increases complexity and chances of errors. Wisdom says that in times of major problems, the individual must be wiser and more insightful, and not to add fuel to the fire, as they say, but tries instead to calm down. Since Iran is a neighbor to these countries, we hope that its role is not to ignite fire, but to keep peace. "Without a doubt, we do not have any goals against Iran, but we hope that Iran shows good-neighborliness and seeks to build close relationships with its neighbors, rather than practicing the language of threat," Prince Saud Al-Faisal said. Regarding the stance towards Iraq in light of Saudi prisoners there and the lack of Saudi embassy in Baghdad, Prince Saud confirmed that there are contacts by the Saudi Embassy in Jordan with Iraqi authorities on the issue of Saudi prisoners. Prince Saud also said "There is negotiation, but I will not talk about it in order not to affect it. But, God willing, this issue will be solved." Regarding the situation of Indian workers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Saud said "We told the Minister that the procedures were taken for the benefit of the Indian workers. If a worker does not have official papers, he would remain at the mercy of those who brought him here. But the worker who has completed official papers, he will be on a job that allows him to practice work and remain in the country. If the worker does not have papers that prove his work in the Kingdom, he will return to his country and no action would be taken against him." Regarding the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia towards the Syrian issue, the Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the Kingdom's stand with the Syrian people in all political and financial matters, adding that "We stand with the Syrian people to alleviate their suffering. Supporting the Free Army depends on their desire. We do not have any reservations in terms of the supporting means we provide for Syria."
