Arab Ministerial Committee on Syria Starts Emergency Meeting

Foreign ministers of the Arab Committee on the Syrian crisis held its emergency meeting at the headquarters of the Arab League (AL) here today, headed by Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani, Premier and Foreign Minister of the State of Qatar with the participation of AL Secretary General Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi and representatives of the Committee's Member States to discuss the latest developments in Syria in light of the proposed call for holding the international conference "Geneva 2" to find a political solution to the Syrian crisis.
Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani led the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the meeting.
