US President Barack Obama declared a major disaster in Oklahoma after a powerful tornado tore through parts of the state, killing 91 people, US media reported. At least 20 children were among the dead, The New York Times quoted a spokeswoman for the Oklahoma state medical examiner as saying. US media reported at least 230 people injured in Moore, a southern suburb of Oklahoma City, a number expected to rise. At least 300 houses have been destroyed, CNN reported.
