Four miners have been rescued from a tunnel that collapsed in a US-owned mine in Indonesia's Papua province, the mine's labour union said Tuesday. About 37 workers were in the tunnel, part of a mine operated by the Indonesian unit of Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc, when it caved in, dpa reported. A spokesman for the company's labour union, Juli Parorongan, said three people were confirmed dead and two others were in critical condition.
