Syrian Opposition Free Four UN Peacekeepers, Philippine Military Says

Syrian ppposition on Sunday freed four Filipino UN peacekeepers who were detained while on patrol in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, a Philippine military spokesman confirmed.
Yarmouk Martyrs Brigade, a Syrian opposition group, said the Filipinos were detained amid "violent clashes and shelling" in the area of separation near Al-Jamlah that "threatened their safety and life."
