The Official Spokesman of Saudi Geological Survey Authority Tareq Aba Al-Khail said that the Authority's seismic monitoring stations monitored at 4:14 a.m. on Saturday morning an earthquake measuring 3.56 on the Richter scale, northwest of Aiss in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on longitude 37.375, latitude 25.50, and depth 10.6 kilometers. He said this earthquake is considered among weak tremors and its area is among volcanic regions. He noted that the stations also monitored on Saturday morning an earthquake measuring 5.7 degrees on the Richter scale in southern Iran, indicating that the earthquake is 817 kilometers, away from the nearest point in the Eastern Region.
