The Secretary General of World Tourism Organization, Dr. Taleb Al-Rifai has met in Madrid with Saudi Mayors delegation headed by the General Supervisor of Architectural Heritage Center of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Mishari Al-Naim. The delegation is on a visit to Spain to explore the Spanish experience in the development and rehabilitation of architectural heritage sites. The Secretary General of World Tourism Organization said in a press statement, "The Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represents a story of a distinguished success at the global level'', noting that the Commission has succeeded in organizing the sectors of tourism and antiquities, enhancing tourist awareness, and possessing distinguished expertise, which make it enjoy very important reputation at the level of ministries and members of the World Tourism Organization.
