Arab League chief Nabil Al-Arabi on Sunday warned that airstrikes by Israel in Syria would have serious consequences for the region, according to dpa. "This is a blatant aggression and a serious violation of an Arab country's sovereignty ... that will expose the region's security and stability to the gravest dangers and consequences," Al-Arabi said. Al-Arabi called on the United Nations to "take immediate action to prevent the repetition of such aggression."
