In implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Cabinet's Member, and Commander of the National Guard directed the National Guard to participate along with other governmental agencies in the rescue and evacuation operations of people affected by the heavy rains in a number of regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In accordance with the plans approved and drawn for the support of civil defense in case of emergency and natural and industrial disasters, the units of the National Guard have rushed to provide support and rescue in the Governorate of Taif, Quwaiyiah, Hail, Wadi Al-Dawasser and neighboring areas which have been affected by floods. The National Guard units have carried out search for the missing people and rescue for those affected by the Floods with the participation of officers and personnel of the National Guard using machineries and means of rescue and safety.
