The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received this evening a telephone call from the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe, who expressed his gratitude to the strength of Saudi-Japanese relationships at all levels. Currently on a visit to the Kingdom, Abe also said that Japan considers itself a friendly State binding with a historical ties with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and it opens its arms to any cooperation between the two countries in all fields, extending an invitation to the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques to visit Japan. For his part, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques thanked the Japanese Premier for his noble feelings and said "We consider Japan the closest friends of Saudi Arabia and the history of relationships between the two countries is the witness of that.. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Japan have common interests in favor of the two friendly countries and the two peoples.. For the invitation to visit Japan, we are pleased to meet it as soon as possible, God willing." The phone conversation also dealt with the relationships between the two countries and ways of enhancing them, in addition to the situations on the regional and international arenas.
