Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, commended the efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in serving the Holy Quran and Muslims as well as his support for religious sciences and scholars in addition to his contribution to the dissemination of awareness culture among Muslim peoples. Sheikh Abdullah also praised the efforts of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in printing the Holy Quran and holding international and local Quranic competitions. This came in a statement during a meeting Sheikh Abdullah held here today with the Secretary General of Muslim World League Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation in various fields between the Muslim World League and Bahrain's Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments.
