Kharj, Southern Outskirts of Riyadh, Jumada II 14, 1434, Apr 24, 2013, SPA -- As many as 13 expatriates embraced Islam yesterday evening at the Cooperative Office for Call and Guidance and Illumination of Foreign Communities (COCG) in Dhulm, Kharj. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Saud bin Zayed Al-Manea, Director of COCG said that 13 foreigners, thanks to God Almighty, converted to Islam religion, stressing that the office in Dhulm usually follows up the newly converted Muslims through preachers who teach them the basic fundamentals of Islam besides providing them with translated copies of the Holy Quran. He also pointed out that 10 Filipinos were among the 13 newly converted Muslims in addition to two women from Nepal community and another woman from the Indian community.
