The South China Sea territorial dispute and plans for a common market by 2015 are topping the agenda a meeting of leaders of the Association of South-East Asian Nations (ASEAN) on Wednesday in Brunei. According to dpa, Philippine President Benigno Aquino said he would push for a legally binding code of conduct among countries with overlapping territorial claims in the South China Sea to ease tensions after recurring confrontations in the area. China's claims to most of the maritime area, including several potentially resource-rich island groups, are disputed by the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei and Taiwan.
