Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs, has met with U.S. National Security Adviser Tom Donilon. In a statement issued yesterday evening, U.S. National Security Council Spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden said that President Barack Obama joined the meeting between Prince Saud Al-Faisal and Donilon. Hayden also said that President Obama and Prince Saud Al-Faisal reaffirmed the strong partnership between the United States and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and discussed developments in the region, including the conflict in Syria. She also said that Prince Saud Al-Faisal offered condolences to President Obama for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. President Obama asked Prince Saud Al-Faisal to convey his best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
