Director General of Real Estate Development Fund (REDF) Mohammed bin Ali Al-Abdani has commended the royal order issued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, which includes the handover of all governmental land designated as grants for housing to the Ministry of Housing (MOH). Upon the royal order, the Ministry of Housing was commissioned the task to develop these lands as suitable residential plots and then hand them over to citizens besides loans to build them according to the mechanism of merit. Al-Abdani also said: "This comes as confirmation of the keenness, attention and support accorded by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for citizens to provide adequate housing for them, contributing to a balance between supply and demand and to solving the housing crisis.
