Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Cabinet's Member, and Commander of the National Guard, awarded French Equestrian Michel Hikar the Grand Prize Friday evening at the conclusion of the International Jumping-Hurdles Equestrian Championship within the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Festival for Hurdles-Jumping at Noufa field, west of Riyadh . The Prince also handed over the prizes to Saudi Equestrians Kamal Bahamdan and Khalid Al-Eid, who ranked the second and the third respectively, Jordanian Equestrian Ibrahim Sharat, the fourth, and Italian Equestrian Emanuel, the fifth . In a press statement, the Prince expressed his happiness that this championship is named after the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, noting that the King supports equestrian and Arabian horses races as well as hurdles-jumping equestrianism. The closing ceremony was attended by Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Vice Governor of Riyadh Region and President of Saudi Equestrian Fund; Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, General President of Youth Welfare and President of Saudi Equestrian Federation; and Prince Abdullah bin Fahd bin Abdullah, Vice President of Saudi Equestrian Federation.
