The Saudi National Center for Quakes and Volcanoes today monitored an earthquake measuring 6.4 degrees on Richter scale hitting an area centered some 85 kilometers south east of Iranian city of Bushehr. Tareq Abal-Khail, Spokesman of the Geological Survey Commission, said the quake distances 240 kilometers from the Saudi city of Jubail, 290 kilometers from Dammam and 280 from Al-Khobar, adding that the following shakes that hit some Saudi cities did not cause any effect.
