Uhuru Kenyatta, 51, was sworn in Tuesday as the new president of Kenya. He took two oaths of allegiance while holding a Bible and standing next to his wife on the podium at a large ceremony at a sports complex in Nairobi, according to a report of DPA. The large crowd erupted in cheers and waved Kenyan flags as Kenyatta took the pledge to carry out his duties as President.
