The Defense Minister of the People's Republic of China General Chang Wanquan, met here today with Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who is currently visiting China. During the meeting, the Chinese Defense Minister commended relations between the People's Republic of China and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in various fields. For his part, Prince Khalid bin Sultan thanked the Chinese Minister of Defense for the warm welcome and reception accorded to him, praising the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries. During the meeting, they discussed a number of topics of common interest. The Prince attended a luncheon hosted by the Chinese Defense Minister in honor of Prince Khalid bin Sultan and his accompanying delegation. The meeting and the luncheon was also attended by the Saudi Ambassador to China Yahya Abdulkarim Al-Zaid.
