Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh region and Chairman of Tourist Development Council in the region, opened here Sunday evening the 6th Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Forum 2013, organized by Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, in the presence of Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Vice Governor of Riyadh region, and the Council's Deputy Chairman. Upon arrival at the venue, the Governor was received by Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities; Prince Khalid bin Saud bin Khalid, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs; Prince Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Abdulrahman, Governor of Diri'yah; Prince Bandar bin Saud bin Mohammad, President of Saudi Wildlife Commission; and Mayor of Riyadh Region Eng. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Muqbil. Addressing the ceremony, Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz stressed that the forum is held in conjunction with what is being achieved by the significant development of national tourism which greatly attracts various strata of the Saudi society, in light of the great care and attention paid to it by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince, adding that everyone looks forward that tourism shall play its part in the growth of economic revenues of the regions, providing job opportunities for citizens, and linking them to the ancient civilization of their homeland. --MORE 13:29 LOCAL TIME 10:29 GMT تغريد
