Toronto police said Sunday they are searching for suspects in a shooting in which one person was killed and one was wounded outside a shopping mall. Toronto police Det. Rob North said the shooting occurred around 8 p.m. Saturday just outside the southwest end of the Yorkdale Shopping Center. "The initial confrontation began inside the mall," he said. "There were no shots fired inside the mall. The two groups of individuals left the mall and shots were fired outside of the mall." The names of the victims were not reported. North said it was too early to determine whether the shooting was gang-related, but it was not a random act of violence, UPI reported. Shortly after the shooting, all entrances to the mall were closed and hundreds of people were forced to remain inside. The mall's parking lot was cordoned off, blocking in hundreds of vehicles.
