The Riyadh-based Saudi national campaign for the relief of Syrian brethren has received a number of thanking letters for its efforts to alleviate the sufferings of Syrian refugees in Jordan. The Saudi ambassador to Jordan Fahd bin Abdulmohsen Al-Zaid, said, in a letter addressed to the campaign, that its distinguished efforts to heal the pains of Syrian refugees in Jordan were recognized by the embassy. For his part, the Chairman of the Shura Charity Association for the Care of Poor Families and Orphans in Jordan Abdulkareem Al-Zaabi thanked the campaign for its support for poor families who took refuge in Jordan through providing different foodstuffs, blankets and mattresses. In particular, he offered thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for the sincere stand by the side of Syrian refugees and the provision, by the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, of crucial items for needy Syrians in Jordan. The campaign has provided 2450 caravans an more than 1,000 tents for the displaced in Al-Zaatari camp and 30 in King Abdullah II Gardens Camp in Al-Ramtha.
