German President receives Tunisian counterpart

German President Joachim Gauck received his Tunisian counterpart Al-Monsef Al-Marzouki in Berlin today.
The Tunisian News Ageny, which carried the news from its headquarters in Tunis, said the German President renewed his country's commitment to provide assistance to Tunisia in the scientific and university fields and support in the economic development path.
The talks covered political developments in Tunisia as well.
Al-Marzouki started his state visit to Germany earlier today.
