Heavy rains have triggered mudslides that have killed at least 10 people in a mountain town north of Rio de Janeiro, state officials said Monday. According to AP, it's the same area of Brazil where more than 900 people died in floods and mudslides two years ago. Officials said that 14 inches of rain fell in 24 hours in the town of Petropolis. That's more than a month's worth of rain. More precipitation is forecast for the hard-hit area.
