Slovenia's designated premier, Alenka Bratusek, proposed her cabinet with 13 ministers Thursday to parliament en route to taking over next week from the ousted Janez Jansa, dpa reported. Bratusek of the Positive Slovenia party heads a new four-way coalition forged Wednesday. Jansa was voted out of the office after his allies abandoned him in the wake of a January state commission graft report implicating him. PS called Jansa's former allies, the Civic List and the pensioners party DeSUS, as well as President Borut Pahor's Social Democrats. The alliance controls 49 of the 90 seats in parliament. Bratusek, 42, proposed Uros Cufer for finance minister, StankoStepisnik for economy, Roman Jakic for defence minister and Tina Komel for minister without portfolio in charge of the diaspora. The vote on Bratusek's cabinet may take place next week, assuming smooth preparatory procedures, STA said.
