The index is 14 points below the record high it reached in October 2007. The Nasdaq composite fell four points to 3,240. The economic calendar is light on Monday, offering investors little to latch on to. The Dow blew past its record high from October 2007 last Tuesday. It set records the rest of the week and ended up 2 percent.
