New Zealand Foreign Affairs Minister Murray McCully praised his meetings and talks with Saudi officials as positive, constructive and fruitful, noting the depth of economic and political relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and New Zealand. In a press conference held at the Embassy of New Zealand in Riyadh today, the NZ minister McCully, currently on a visit to the Kingdom, stressed that his country is seeking to create a platform for partnerships between the agricultural sectors of the two countries. He also said that New Zealand is eager to establish stronger ties with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the largest country in the Gulf region.
